I am deeply honored to have been featured as a volunteer in the premier issue of 916 Ink's Inker News. 916 Ink Sacramento Youth Writers empowers students in the Sacramento region with creative writing, thereby developing strong readers and inspired writers who lead a higher quality of life due to increased literacy skills and improved academics. Executive Director Katie McCleary and her talented and dedicated staff do an amazing job creating programs and an environment where teens feel safe and empowered to discover their authorial voice, express themselves through words and become published authors.
