On Leaving Mt. Vernon
Leaving my home away from home, Mt Vernon New York, tomorrow evening after six weeks of hanging out with best friend Maggie, just as the kitchen remodel is almost done and the daffodils are blooming (not ours, but they are all over the neighborhood and very lovely). I'm going to miss it and her and my daughter of course.
Proud to have finished a pretty decent (if I do say so myself) draft of THE PERCIVAL CURSE (the hopefully, first in a series of PERCIVAL PLACE novels that are a big departure for me), so that's clearly kind of a big deal as they say.
