More January Stuff from New York
Last week here in Mt Vernon
I've been here over a month this time and feel as if I'm living a double life. Waiting for a contractor to come measure the kitchen a second time in preparation for the installation of a new kitchen by Home Depot. It's taken forever, at least it feels that way. Hope it's worth it. He's an hour and a half late. Also waiting for four paintings to arrive so I can't leave, have to sign for them. So it's been a lot of that, taking care of stuff around here. Like painting that closet - shelves being installed tomorrow. And playing with the big, black dog.
And writing finally! Can't really tell from the screen shot, but at the bottom of the screen is a word count for the MS, fifty some thousand words, not too shabby!
Need to do my pages for the day; got sidetracked by a headache and flattening a mountain of cardboard to put out at the curb and, and other stuff, so yeah.
